When I do this I can't restart -- the system hangs during the shutdown
messages and the screen starts flashing. When I reboot with the
ModulePath line in xorg.conf the system hangs and the screen flashes
again just before I should be getting the login screen. So I rebooted to
level 3 and restored the old xorg.conf file.
