Around about 21/09/09 18:07, Daniel B. Thurman typed ...
Open the Nautilus main browser, select Edit->Preferences
and bugtool pops up and crashes all open Nautilius browsers.
I had this on my F10 box after going to use the nautilus prefs. app. for
the first time in ages.
Much debugging showed it going to access some old pref. that it now
wanted as a string when it used to be an int, and there was an unchecked
pointer being returned as zero (due to the type mis-match).
I don't think it was the only one, so trying to remember which pref. in
particular it was prob. won't help (but I'm having a look anyway).
OK, here's what I reported:
Allegedly fixed in “more recent versions”. You may wish to check your
prefs., or move them out of the way.
