Changing passwords remotely in Samba

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello everyone

Problem is: How to allow Samba users to change their Samba passwords
from their Windows workstations. Server is in user mode

Swat doesn't cut it since it requires users to enter a Unix user and a
Unix password and for one isde users only know their Samab users not the
Unix ones and for another side these are "unloggable" users (ie the
crypted password is set to an impossible value)
