In my .bash_profile I added an exporting two variables

http_proxy and all_proxy

export all_proxy=http://ip.ip.ip.ip:port
same way to http_proxy

More information you can take a look on http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/LinuxProxyConfig

Has anyone figured out how to configure a proxy server with Chrome?
