I'll reboot and see if the problem goes away. I'd appreciate any
comments if I'm barking up the wrong tree.
That didn't change anything. /var/log/pm-suspend.log recorded it.
/usr/lib/pm-utils/sleep.d/00auto-quirk suspend suspend: Adding quirks
from HAL: --quirk-dpms-on --quirk-dpms-suspend --quirk-vbe-post
--quirk-vbemode-restore --quirk-vbestate-restore --quirk-vga-mode-3
success.
So, how can I find *what* is calling this? More importantly, how can I
turn the damned thing off?
And again. I've backed out 2.6.29.6-217.2.7 kernel and wait to see if
this reoccurs.
