As far as the .iso image, it is a CD image. You normally burn it
directly to a CD. It is also possible to mount the .iso image under
Linux.

To want to mount the image, try something like this:

mkdir /mnt/iso
mount -o loop Fedora-11-1386-disk1.iso /mnt/iso
