Not all hardware are well recognized on TOSHIBA

I have a TOSHIBA m355, but the video card(Radeon Mobility 3470), bluetooth(I don't know the model), finger print(??? 1610) are not recognized.
Shall I download and install the *ugly* driver from the companies' support site?
