Can body test if the library libg2c.so works properly with Fedora11
x86_64
I installed
compat-gcc-34-3.4.6-13.x86_64.rpm
compat-gcc-34-g77-3.4.6-13.x86_64.rpm
compat-libf2c-34-3.4.6-13.x86_64.rpm
compat-gcc-34-c++-3.4.6-13.x86_64.rpm
But gcc -shared -lg2c
always gives me:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lg2c
You should use gcc34 -shared -lg2c instead, libg2c is a GCC 3.4.x
compatibility library only (all newer GCCs have -lgfortran library instead
and you realy should be using gfortran rather than g77).
