httpd server gone mad

Dear Fedora Folks!
Recently I was trying to install httpd local server on my FC11 machine. I need it for experiments with php/mySQL. First, I installed all the necessary packages:
yum -y install httpd php mysql mysql-server php-mysql
/sbin/chkconfig httpd on
/sbin/chkconfig mysqld on
/sbin/service httpd start
/sbin/service mysqld start
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'superbubersecretpassword'
It worked nice at the evening. I tested a few scripts like phpinfo(); and gone to sleep happily. Next day I begun to work on my project. I hadn't change any configuration of the server when suddenly it stopped to work. I recognized that when Firefox begun to display empty page, not my page.
I tried 'service httpd start' but got the error:
Starting httpd: (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address [::]:80 (98)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
Unable to open logs
                                                          [FAILED]
Then I run 'netstat -lnp | grep '0.0.0.0:80' ' to find out witch process is using the address. To my surprise it was httpd itself! And more over, there's a lot of httpd processes: ps aux | grep httpd root 3099 0.0 1.7 28976 9016 ? Ss 09:25 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3115 0.0 0.8 28896 4288 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3116 0.0 1.1 29108 6112 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3118 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3119 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3122 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3123 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3124 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3125 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd apache 3126 0.0 0.7 28976 4048 ? S 09:26 0:00 /usr/sbin/httpd root 3434 0.0 0.1 4200 696 pts/0 S+ 09:54 0:00 grep httpd
How can I cure my Apache? Any thoughts?
Respectfully
