When I got up this morning I discovered a message that I've never seen before on all of the open gnome terminals on my desktop: message from syslogd: disabling IRQ #16 I checked /var/log/messages for further information and all that I found was this: Jul 13 04:53:01 mutt kernel: irq 16: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option) Everything seemed to still be working, but I just rebooted this computer as a kind of a precaution.
