for the sake of experimentation, i want to build a kernel for my x86_64 version of f11 using the current /boot/config file and the current "git pull" of the kernel source tree. anyone know any reason why that might be a hideously bad idea? obviously, i'll keep the working version around, but i was just wondering if anyone had tried this and run into any show-stopper issues. thanks. rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
