I would do: 1- switch to init 3 (]# init 3) 2- install akmod-nvidia (]# yum install akmod-nvidia) This should install akmod-nvidia, kmod-nvidia, xorg-x11-drv-nvidia, xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs 3- switch to init 5 (]# init 5) This will install the nvidia module for your kernel.
