I have an "Intel Corporation 82801JI (ICH10 Family) HD Audio
Controller", and I have the same sound "break up/clipping" problem.
Additionally, I here pops and crackles when listening to mp3 or flac
audio files.

I think it's a bug in a driver or pulse audio in Fedora 10. I just
don't know how to track it down.
