Several times since upgrading to Firefox 3.5, it's just disappeared. I can't find a reliable pattern to it. When it goes, gnome panel goes away, too. After a few seconds, gnome panel returns.
1. yum install firefox-debuginfo 2. Start firefox 3. Use ps to find its pid 4. ssh into this machine from another host 5. gdb /usr/lib/firefox-3.5/firefox <PID> 6. Wait for firefox to crash 7. Hopefully, gdb will be able to catch the signal 8. Post the backtrace of every thread into Bugzilla
