Hello list;
  I recently bought an Autumn Wave OnAir HDTV USSB tuner.

I read the pvrusb2 driver setup information.

I am logged in as "mick" KDE.
In an xterm as root:

[root@localhost ~]# uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.27.21-170.2.56.fc10.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Mar 23 23:08:10 EDT 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Under F10 it fails with:

[root@localhost ~]# tvtime
Running tvtime 1.0.2.
Reading configuration from /etc/tvtime/tvtime.xml
Reading configuration from /root/.tvtime/tvtime.xml
xvoutput: No XVIDEO port found which supports YUY2 images.

I then downloaded the latest kernal from kernal.org, configured and compiled it

When I boot it I get "cannot find /dev/root"

Has anyone got this thing to work?
How do you compile tyhe new kernels?

Thanks
  Mick M.
