I would think it would be much easier to just add a shutdown file to /etc/cron.d The format is slightly different - you have to specify the name of the user to run as. You could create a file called poweroff containing: # Power off the system weekdays at 4:15 pm. # 15 16 * * 1-5 root /sbin/shutdown -h now Mikkel -- Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for thou art crunchy and taste good with Ketchup!
