What do your routes look like? What are your configs, and how do you
start openvpn?

My server.conf and client.conf are:
--------------------------------------------

cert /etc/openvpn/keys/server.crt

"route -n" on server and client give:
--------------------------------------------
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Iface

I start openvpn on both machines with "sudo service openvpn restart".

Apology for being a buttinsky. I'm also trying to understand vpn. As I look through "route -n" much of it makes sense but there is something unclear. Would you disclose the relevant parts of the file "ipp.txt". I have a feeling it may be revealing.

ps. thanx for the great info :m)
