Same setup here.  And it does not work for me.  The open bugs I posted
indicate that it's not just me and Wolfgang having problems either.
You must have the lucky 100th install or something. ;)

The gnome-keyring-daemon's ssh agent is most definitely not as robust
as the openssh ssh agent at this time.  It's a pity that it can't even
be disabled according to its documentation due to yet more bugs (which
are apparently fixed upstream, but are not backported to Gnome-2.24
and F-10).
