Don't. Fedora 8 is no longer supported, it makes no sense to select it for
new installations now! There are no more updates for Fedora 8, not even
security updates. All Fedora users are expected to have already upgraded to
Fedora 9 or 10. Installing Fedora 8 now is outright stupid.

The only Fedora version which could be an option for you is Fedora 10.
(Fedora 9 also has only about 4 months of updates left.)

If you use Fedora, you have to upgrade at least once a year. If that's not
an option for you, then Fedora is the wrong distribution for your
deployment. Try CentOS.
