Hi; How do I change the order in which programs start at login for various programs that are in the Startup Programs tab of my Sessions folder? This is not a crucial question for me -- more in the line of "Enquiring minds want to know". For example: For reasons of neatness and order only, I would like to start xchat-gnome (the front end) at the same time, or just before or just after, Evolution. Presently xchat-gnome is the first program to start while Evolution is the last even though xchat does not make its internet connection until all other startups are completed and Evolution has fetched the latest mail. Obviously, xchat-gnome can't do anything until the network connections are made. I would like to set the xchat-gnome gui to start at about the same time it is about to make its automatic network and channel connections. 'Sessions' used to have a tab in which you could use 'nice' as a timing control. I have looked in init.d and various rc.ds for a clue but no luck. -- Regards Bill Fedora 10, Gnome 2.24.3 Evo.2.24.3, Emacs 22.2.1 -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
