Have another look. I think they just updated the page to say February 8.
Here's what I did to localise the time to me. At the bash prompt:
$ date -u
Fri Feb 6 22:31:49 UTC 2009
Then I copied that date string, pasted it back at the prompt but changed it (so that I don't have to memorise the format of the date string):
$ date --date='Feb 8 1:30:00 UTC 2009'
Sat Feb 7 17:30:00 PST 2009
So, on the west coast of the US this class will start on Saturday at 5:30PM. Do I have that right?Here's what I did to localise the time to me. At the bash prompt:
$ date -u
Fri Feb 6 22:31:49 UTC 2009
Then I copied that date string, pasted it back at the prompt but changed it (so that I don't have to memorise the format of the date string):
$ date --date='Feb 8 1:30:00 UTC 2009'
Sat Feb 7 17:30:00 PST 2009
