I'm not a big fan of gnome or KDE either, and for dealing with mounts, rather than doing them manually, I got ambitious and whipped out a little Qt app: http://home.att.net/~Tom.Horsley/mountie.tar.bz2 It gets all the information from hal same as gnome, but it doesn't do anything automatically till you tell it to mount or unmount something. I like being in control better than having "helpful" software doing unknown things behind my back :-). Mountie is just one part of my "Stick in the Mud" work: http://home.att.net/~Tom.Horsley/stick.html -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
