I just purchased a HP C5580 from newegg.com and got it on sale for $100 & free shipping. It's a multi-function photosmart printer and so far it's worked great. Scanner works fine, photo tray engages automatically (My Photosmart 1115 had a manual tray) and the memory card reader works (My 1115 still did not as of F9) and it prints well on printable CD/DVD's with a custom template for glabels. It supports both 15ml cartridges (cheap but not a lot of ink, $16 on hp.com) or XL cartridges. Just bought an XL color and B&W combo from Costco for ~$60 but it should last a while.
