By now if you keep your computer up to date you should have a very late 4.1 or a very early 4.2, probably 4.2rc1 or 2. There were many problems, as expected, with 4.0. Most of them have gone by now. The KDE4 interface is quite different, so you need to ask specific questions so that we can help you. Anne
