Hello,

I bought an canon camcorder (md235) and i wont to capture (via firewire) the video with kino

Is firewire working in fedora 10?

Try running dvgrab as root. This resolved the issue I had when my camcorder (a JVC) wasn't recognized on the FireWire port.

output of dvgrab;
# dvgrab
Error: no camera exists
