When I enter clear, the visible display (brltty) seems ok for a few minutes or perhaps a few lines, then I run into the lines again. My son was watching the system while it was rebooting the other day, and he said that the display is all messed up even as it is rebooting. I think perhaps my video card is failing. also, being curious about assistance for impaired vision, i ran a google-linux search of 'brltty' which yielded 27,900 hits. on first page, i found a link, https://lists.linux-foundation.org/ \ pipermail/accessibility-io/2005-July/000016.html with a link to brltty mailing list. http://mielke.cc/mailman/listinfo/brltty if not already on list, you might give it a try. much luck to you. peace out. tc,hago. g . **** in a free world without fences, who needs gates. ** to mess up a linux box, you need to work at it; to mess up an ms windows box, you just need to *look at* it. ** learn linux: 'Rute User's Tutorial and Exposition' http://rute.2038bug.com/index.html.gz 'The Linux Documentation Project' http://www.tldp.org/ 'LDP HOWTO-index' http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/HOWTO-INDEX/index.html 'HowtoForge' http://howtoforge.com/ **** -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFJWu9w+C4Bj9Rkw/wRAvZ7AKCXwZ7r2FY5dCQrdgxKnT0NfkkeKgCfa9ZV n8rPhKgH63/pznm3K5iKAAo= =5YO2 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
