I hope Matthias Clasen won't lynch me for giving that suggestion ;-), but you can use KDM (from kdebase-workspace) instead of GDM. KDM supports XDMCP. Install kdebase-workspace and write DISPLAYMANAGER="KDE" (_not_ "KDM") into /etc/sysconfig/desktop (create it if it doesn't exist). There are also a few other display managers in Fedora, but they don't support ConsoleKit, so you can have trouble with device permissions if you use those. Thus I suggest using only GDM or KDM. If GDM doesn't work for you, that leaves KDM. > What is the ETA? Sorry, I don't know, I don't work on GDM, I'm a KDE guy. ;-) Kevin Kofler -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
