libvirt autostart VM is broken

Hi all,

The libvirtd autostart VM option seems to be broken [1,2], so I need a work-around.

How can I start the libvirtd service, and then (after the service has fully started) start a particular VM from the command line? (I can do this from the gui of course, but I want to stick it in a script).
