There was a bug [1] in earlier releases of Evolution that caused it to
create malformed filters (pointing to one's local folders instead of an
on-server IMAP hierarchy).
You may want to try evolution-2.24.2-2.fc10 from the updates-testing
repository [2], as that appears to fix the issue for many (myself
included).
