I've been tossing drywall around today. > > Thanks Craig. ---- No - I'm not gonna parse your cups.conf but I'm sort of wondering if there is a cupsd.conf.rpmnew that is considerably lighter than the one that's in use. That's what I noticed - that cupsd.conf went on a diet...I think it was in F8 but I could be wrong - memory fails me...but I do recall at some point, I moved out my old cupsd.conf and moved in the rpmnew version and things were simpler and worked better. Seemed to be one of the things that didn't migrate over the Fedora version upgrade churns all that well.
