Hi,
my system is F9 X86_64, updated. I found there are duplicate rpms in my system eg
yum-3.2.19-3.fc9.noarch
yum-3.2.14-10.fc9.noarch
openldap-2.4.10-2.fc9.x86_64
openldap-2.4.8-3.fc9.x86_64
It seems ok to remove old version. I suspect there are more duplicates. How to identify them?
thanks
Y
I identified them using script:
rpm -qa | awk -F\. '{print $1, $(NF) } ' x | sort | uniq -c | awk '$1 > 1' > dup.rpm.list
There are 300+, how to efficiently remove older ones?
Thanks
