cannot add VPN connectiooon in KDE network manager

Hi All;

If I click on the Network manager Icon then choose :

VPN Connections --> Configure VPN 

I get the Network Connections interface, with the VPN tab opened but the Add 
button is greyed out. 

I have installed vpnc - is this the problem ?
