That's not relevant at this stage as it appears Linux is having
issues with your dvd or mass storage controller it's connected to.
What model of pc? I'd be curious to see what hardware this is.
FWIW, you can easily install Vista on any partition other then the
first. Its boot loader can even be active and pass off to grub if you wanted.
It is a Packard Bell IMEDIA D2500 AIO.
