I tried all that was suggested, but I had the same result: trying to use
a xorg generated config file and then adding my "Virtual" line to it
locks up Xord hard.  I'm out of ideas at this point.

My old 3360x1050 dual display setup is going to have to wait until
someone else figures out how to do it and posts the answer! :(
