I created a new account and the problem persists. However, this issue only seems to happen when loging in through VNC.
df -h

tmpfs 219M 720K 219M 1% /dev/shm

Swap: 917496 68688 848808

I don't think memory is an issue. I think it's a vnc problem.
Any ideas?
EJ
