Granted I'm running rawhide on a ThinkPad T400 and using the ATI drivers from RPMFusion, so it's beta on top of beta. But the fact is that X loads and is incredibly slow. Going back to the stock ATI drivers for now. They don't allow me to run all of the Compiz eye candy, but at least they're not slow. If anyone has any better ideas on how to make this all work, I'm open to hearing about it.
