Prior to attempting to us my OfficeJet for scanning, I installed it as a printer using the System/Administration/Printing setup application. Through this process, Fedora 9 recognized my printer. Following the information, I checked to see that hplip was installed and found that it was. I included the graphical front end. After installing the graphical front end, the installation asked if I wish to run the program. I answered yes and it responded saying that it was unable to find any devices the subsequently crashed. > > -- > fedora-list mailing list > fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list > Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
