Okay, maybe I'm being a bit dumb here, but that link goes to a web page
which says:

   1. Click on the palette ("cashew") icon for the panel to bring up the
      panel controller.
   2. Choose "More Settings".

What 'palette icon'? Where is that? I can find nothing which says 'more
settings'.
