Just to toot the horns of some of the people I work with (and certainly not my own, since I had nothing whatsoever to do with the matter), a few of the Fedora hackers inside Red Hat actually did quite a bit of kernel work upstream to get Linux kernel driver support for these units. I don't know if they have 100% coverage for all the eeePCs but it's certainly a lot farther along than it would have been otherwise. -- Paul W.
