You can either add a line like this to the
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-<interface> file:

  PEERDNS=no

Or you can use System > Administration > Network, and turn off the
"Automatically obtain DNS information from provider" checkbox for the
appropriate interface.
