To go from F8 to F9, I first installed this new release RPM: # rpm -Uhv ftp://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/9/Everything/i386/os/Packages/fedora-release-*.noarch.rpm I then ran yum update, which upgrade some 1200 packages. It took awhile but it worked. ----- Colin Brace Amsterdam http://lim.nl -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/F9-install%3A-anaconda-fails%3A-Unable-to-read-package-metadata.-tp19246623p19274671.html Sent from the Fedora List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list Guidelines: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Communicate/MailingListGuidelines
