I don't think the wireless has anything to do with it. The reason is I tried telnetting into port 5905 - connection refused (but it works from the VNC server - telnetting to localhost 5905). I also have another server running VNC on 5905. Both the other machines can telnet into 5905 on this machine, but it cannot in turn telnet into 5905 on the VNC server. So it seems to be a firewall problem on the VNC server. Yet iptables is definitely not running on it.
