	Hi Jorgen,

Here are the two kernel lines from your grub
configuration:

> kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.25.10-86.fc9.i686 ro root=/dev/dm-0 quiet
> usbcore.au tosuspend=1 agp=off agppart=off

> kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.25.10-85.fc9.i686 ro
> root=UUID=27915760-e016-4843-9d 85-6642e29dc74c quiet

I notice that the data passed with the root option is different in both
cases. I notice that the kernel line for the newer kernel points to a
device file, while your root option for the working kernel passes a
string of letters and numbers. *First of all*: Back up
your "/boot/grub/grub.conf" file. Try copying the string of letters and
numbers from the working kernel line, and replace the device file name
with the letters and numbers. Good luck,

PS: You might try posting a bugzilla entry in
the Fedora Bugzilla system about this.
