Well...most of the time that's the tricky part. However, with a particular 
Firefox add-on I'm using it was easy to grab the flv file.  The name of the 
add-on is "DownloadHelper".  Get it from:

http://www.downloadhelper.net/

Once you have it, you can download the file and then use mplayer to retrieve 
the audio.
