I don't understand why it changed, but the latest F8 kernel (2.6.25.4-10.fc8)
doesn't work as-issued with dosemu.
When loading dosemu, I get the following message:
LOWRAM mmap: Invalid argument
Segmentation fault
And after getting that far with my message, I forgot to ask my question:
Why did this value change from what it used to be, i.e. 0? Is there anything
bad that will happen now that I've changed it back?
I just looked, its 0 on my i386 F8 system running 2.6.24.7-92, and its
65536 on my x86_64 F9 system running 2.5.25.3-18. dosbox runs just fine
on my F9 system. I've had so many problems with dosemu in the past that
I've abandoned it....
