If you have name resolution problems, then you need to solve them. You haven't said what didn't resolve, though. Print server or client? How are you resolving names? An /etc/hosts file on each computer, a local DNS server. If you're using a local DNS server, and it does have the correct addresses programmed into it, are you firewalling it? -- (This box runs Centos 5.0, my others still run FC 4, 5, 6, & 7, in case that's important to the thread.)
