Thanks for the reply, however the problem is my res is 1024x768, which is not what I want, as per my email, in FC8, I can get 1280x768, which I can’t in FC9.
I’m not sure either what installing easylife, will achieve, in regards to this problem?
Thanks for the post anyways.

Hi Luke,
I have Dell inspiron 640M with 945GM Graphic card and I used 915resolution when I used Ubuntu 7.10 before. But now, after switching to Fedora 9 it works out-of-the-box. FC9 is not using 915resolution and Intel has already included in the feature by default. To get looks good of resolution and everything in my screen, I've installed easylife package. Install it by su -c 'yum install easylife'. My screen resolution now is 1024x768.
Cheers,

I have read that under FC8, you needed the 915resolution package to get
1280x800 to work, however is this the same under FC9?
As I cannot get this res to work, nor find the package?
Cheers
This is true in F8 (I've got something similar) but I've not yet found a way of dealing with this in F9.
