umm... for those of us who haven't followed the entire thread... are you stating that you can't login (as root) to a fc9 machine when you're local/console to the box? or is this a situation where you're attempting to do a remote/ssh login as root? thanks -----Original Message----- From: fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of David Boles Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 7:29 PM To: For users of Fedora Subject: Re: Login as root on Fedora Core 9 David L. If you "have been using UNIX/linux for nearly 30 years", and I don't doubt you, you should be able to figure a way around this very easily. I have only been using Linux for about fifteen years and it took me almost two minutes. It should be much faster for you. -- David -- fedora-list mailing list fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-list
