chkconfig --levels 2345 on
However this chkconfig setting didn't survive the Fedora 9
upgrade process. Is there a better approach which will allow
postfix to continue to startup after future upgrades (say
to Fedora 10)?

ntsysv will let you do it via an ncurses gui
