I am seeing an error at boot time; a nfs startup script segfaults and there is a pointer to a line in the ../init.d/functions script. However, it is nonetheless possible to subsequently start nfs manually:
$ sudo service nfs restart
Shutting down NFS mountd: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS daemon: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS quotas: [ OK ]
Shutting down NFS services: [FAILED]
Starting NFS services: [ OK ]
Starting NFS quotas: [ OK ]
Starting NFS daemon: [ OK ]
Starting NFS mountd: [ OK ]
I'd like to file a bug report, but I am not sure what specific module it concerns. In Bugzilla, I see an entry called "initscripts". Is the right one?
Also, do these boot-time errors get logged anywhere? No mention of this particular hiccup in dmesg, obviously because it is not a kernel issue.
